Like the fairytale Princess and the Pea, my creativity was the size of a pea and buried under a thick layer of soft mattresses. Every now and then I'd have a bad night’s sleep but I could always attribute it to something else; too much sugar before bed, replaying a conversation I had today, worrying about something that is going to happen tomorrow, etc you know the drill. And then I learned to crochet. This was a very big deal since I’d been wanting to learn for decades, no really decades. And the pea began to grow. Then I learned to knit and the pea grew larger. For me creativity has definitely been a lifelong journey of trial and error and discovery. Each “what if” leads to more “what ifs” and my creativity continues to grow layer by layer. I create because the more I create the more creativity I have. I look forward to sharing with you.
